BIOGRAPHY
Gary R. Edwards was admitted to the Massachusetts
Bar as an attorney in 1998. In 1999, he was also admitted to practice in
the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Gary
graduated magna cum laude in 1994 from Rhode Island College earning
a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in History and a minor in music. He
then went on to earn a Juris Doctorate from the New England School
of Law where he graduated cum laude in 1998. While attending New
England School of Law, Gary received a New England Scholar Award and a CALI
Award for Massachusetts Practice.
While attending the evening program at the law
school, Gary worked as Manager of the Sheraton Federal Credit Union, an employee
credit union for Sheraton Hotels. After graduation, Gary opened up a law
practice in Avon, Massachusetts. Two years later, he helped to facilitate
the merger of three law firms into Clerc & Edwards, P.C. in West Bridgewater,
Massachusetts and was a principal of that firm until March, 2005 when he
left that firm to open his own solo practice.
Gary is a member of the Plymouth County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Foxboro Chapter of Business Networking International (BNI), having previously served as Chapter President. Gary also volunteers for the Attorney of the Day program in both the Plymouth and Norfolk County Probate and Family Courts.
Gary and his wife, Andrea, live in Hanson, Massachusetts
with their son, Brian.
